Since commenting on the review has been turned off we thought this might help clear up the confusion. We will post the video footage of this oil change in the comments below. We kindly responded to the customer and we can paraphrase that comment here:
It’s clear in the video footage there was a struggle to shut the hood; however, the employee was able to get the hood shut and tugged on it again to make sure it was latched securely. During that process (we didn’t upload the footage with audio) the customer was apologizing to the employee “because sometimes it does that.” Then the customer began to explain about the car with front end damage prior to getting an oil change (also visible in the footage) was a $700 car. We are genuinely glad no one was hurt during this unfortunate accident. We offered for the parent of the reviewer to come look at the footage in person and they decided threatening the lives of our employees was a more appropriate response. It’s very unfortunate that sometimes when a car with front end damage could have a hood latch that fails at a later time. Also, in our original comment we Thanked the customer for their review.
