The carnage on the 3.5 Ecoboost continues. Moving onto trying to determine if rod knock is what I was hearing and based off this I can probably confirm that diagnosis.

F150 Ecoboost in, if only just barely, for timing service and a faulty cam phaser gear. Hit me up for timing needs. It's mostly labor, and my rates are much lower than a full shop so you save big on this critical maintenance that often gets put off until it's an even more expensive problem.

Timing Belt Service: Not a sight you want to see. A timing belt connects the crankshaft at the bottom to the camshaft up top and is critical to an engine. When broken the engine stops immediately and almost always suffers damage as the pistons smack the valves, costing thousands in engine repairs. This is often overlooked as the service interval is 60-80k and the car gets sold in this time and the next owner doesn't have it done either. It's just a rubber belt and will fail when old without any warning. Timing on most vehicles can be done in a day and have you back on the road not worrying whether your engine can fail at literally any moment essentially for the rest of the vehicles life.
