🔧 MESSAGE FROM THE OWNER — SCHEDULING & SERVICE UPDATE

I wanted to give everyone a quick update regarding our current staffing and scheduling.

At this time, Hofer’s Mobile Mechanics LLC is back down to just myself handling day-to-day operations.

Our technician recently received a formal offer from a dealership that was simply too good for him to pass up, and he has since moved on from working with us full-time. He may still help us occasionally on weekends when available, but with him now being approximately two hours away, that will likely be limited for the time being.

What this means is that I am currently handling the office, dispatching, customer communication, diagnostics, and field repairs myself.

I will be working through customers one at a time, or moving between jobs when circumstances such as parts availability, approvals, or rescheduling allow me to do so.

I appreciate everyone’s patience as I work to make sure each customer receives the proper attention instead of rushing from one job to another.

I will also be much stricter about our normal operating hours of 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.

My wife and I are expecting our baby in less than a month, so there may occasionally be situations where I need to temporarily step away from a job or adjust the schedule to take care of my family.

If that happens, it does not mean your job is being abandoned or forgotten. I will communicate with you and return to your vehicle as soon as I am available.

For the immediate future, we will also be limiting major or multi-day repairs.

If a repair is beyond what I can reasonably accommodate within our current mobile schedule, I will be happy to refer you to one of the reputable local shops we work with rather than overbooking work that I cannot complete efficiently.

We are still available for diagnostics, electrical work, no-starts, programming, maintenance, brakes, A/C, and many of the mobile repairs our customers regularly depend on us for.

We’re hiring mobile automotive technicians — Level A, B & C
Hofer’s Mobile Mechanics LLC is looking to add another technician to our team. We are accepting Level A through Level C technicians, with compensation based on experience, skill level, diagnostic ability, and technician placement.
🔧 1099 Independent Subcontractor Position
💰 Great opportunity for technicians looking to make additional money and take on consistent work, Pay is Flat Rate, Per Billable hour sold, rates between 35-45 an hour, Plus Travel compensation and +5% commission on labor.
📲 Jobs are offered as they come in
📅 Minimum availability/commitment of 3 jobs per week
🚐 This is a mobile position — you will be working at customer locations
☀️ You will work outdoors and in real-world field conditions
Requirements:
• Must provide your own standard automotive tools
• Must be dependable and communicate professionally
• Must be capable of working independently in the field
• Must complete and sign our 1099 Subcontractor Agreement
• Experience level will determine whether you are placed as a Level A, B, or C Technician
We provide normal shop supplies and may provide limited specialty equipment based on the individual technician’s situation, with the expectation that you continue building toward having your own complete tool and equipment setup.
👕 After successfully completing your first 30 days, company uniforms will be provided.

Hofer’s Mobile Mechanics LLC is currently back to being a one-technician operation, with me personally handling diagnostics, repairs, scheduling, phone calls, service requests, parts coordination, and day-to-day operations.
