ARTICLE I
Section 1 - Name: The name of the Club shall be “Fox Cities Modern Mopar” (FCMM). The Car Club is affiliated Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and follows their rules and guidelines.
Section 2 - Purpose: The purpose of FCMM is to promote the enjoyment of Chrysler built/powered vehicles from any time period. We are a family oriented, all MOPAR car club whose goal is to be ambassadors of our hobby through similar interest, general meetings, scheduling social events, sharing knowledge and respecting everyone’s rides.
Section 3 - Seal: The logo of the group is the original Chrysler star with FCMM next to it.

ARTICLE II
Section 1 - Members: We have two simple requirements. First, you must own a MOPAR. Second, you
should be willing to be an active participant in our club events and monthly meetings. FCMM believes
it’s your participation that makes our club and its events successful.
As a member we require responsible driving and the obeying of traffic laws. Run-ins with the law are unacceptable. No street racing. What’s said in the club stays in the club. Group information is privy – please do NOT discuss club business with non-members. No physical or verbal altercations will be tolerated. No stealing. No vandalism. All members are equal. Keep a clean and well maintained vehicle. Remember that you are a representative of our club. Members must have a valid driver’s license. Member vehicles must be legally registered and fully insured (with the exception of restorations).
Club membership levels are as follows:
a) Board Members for owner(s) of Mopar who have been elected to serve on the board of directors.
b) General Members for owner(s) of Mopar who have attended at least one general membership meeting (GMM) and have read and follow the current bylaws.
c) Inactive Members are members who own a Mopar and follow the group online, but have not attended a general membership meeting (GMM) or read the bylaws.
Section 2 - Membership: There are no dues to be a member of FCMM.
Upon joining the Club, members receive access to the FCMM closed Facebook group, access to order apparel and event invitations. To be considered an active member, attendance to one general membership meeting and completion of a membership form are required.
Active members in attendance are authorized to vote on club matters.
All members are able to attend our functions and activities, and to compete for club awards.
Section 3 - Expulsion: Any member may be suspended / expelled from the group by the Club’s Board of
Directors if they determine the action necessary.
Section 4 - Resignation: Any member may resign by directing a letter of resignation to any Board
member, or by verbally stating so.
Section 5 - Logos: Official Club logo items are to be attached only to Club registered member’s vehicles. If more are required, they may be purchased from the Club at the regular sales price.
Section 6 - Club Funds and Assets: No member shall have or acquire any right, title, or interest in the assets of the Club, nor any vested right in the continuation of any Club service. All assets of the Club shall be used by the Board of Directors to provide services to members of the Club consistent with the objectives of the Club as stated herein. No part of the assets of the Club shall be distributed to any member without express consent from the Board of Directors. Upon the event of dissolution, any funds remaining after meeting all prior obligations shall be distributed to one or more regularly organized non-profit organizations devoted to one or more of the objectives of the Club, or to one or more educational or charitable organizations selected by the Board Of Directors.
Section 7- Grievance Procedure: Any complaint concerning the Club or any member of the club must be
brought in writing and signed by the complainant, to any board member at least one week prior to the
next regularly scheduled board meeting. It will be discussed at that board meeting, with all concerned
parties present. If the matter cannot be resolved, it will be brought up at the next regularly scheduled
club meeting for discussion and voting on using the written ballot system.
ARTICLE III
Section 1 – Regular Board Meetings: The Board of Directors shall meet each month prior to the upcoming meeting (usually the last Saturday of the month), or as many times as deemed appropriate. Four of the seven positions will constitute a quorum at any meeting. Each Board meeting will discuss the following:
a) Prior meeting discussions / follow up.
b) Reports of officers / updates of pertinent information.
c) Reports of select committees / updates as applies.
d) Upcoming business / commitments / functions.
e) Proposed new business.
*In affiliation with FCA guidelines: There are no drugs/alcohol permitted at Board Meetings/Events.
Section 2 - Membership Meetings: Regular Club member meetings will be conducted the first Saturday of each month, unless otherwise directed by the Board of Directors (i.e. emergency meetings, special meetings, etc.). Each regular meeting will discuss the following:
a) Prior meeting discussions / follow up.
b) Reports of officers / updates of pertinent information.
c) Reports of select committees / updates as applies.
d) Upcoming business / commitments / functions.
e) Proposed new business.
*In affiliation with FCA guidelines: There are no drugs/alcohol permitted at General Membership Meetings.
ARTICLE IV
Section 1 – Board of Directors and the Duties of Officers: The Board of Directors will be composed of the members of the club who have been elected to the following club officer positions with duties as listed:
a) President: The President will conduct and preside over all meetings. He or She is responsible to see that all officers perform their duties. He or She is responsible for Club representation within the community. In the event any Board member cannot fulfill their obligations to the Club, the President is responsible for performing that officer’s duties until the vacancy is filled and, in addition, he or she has the right to appoint another Club member to fill the vacated position. He or She shall also swear in the new officers at the beginning of their new terms of office.
b) Vice President: The Vice President will work with the President on all Club activities / events, as well as coordinate the efforts of all Board members. In the event the President resigns for any reason, the Vice President shall fulfill the obligations of the presidency for the duration of the remaining term and shall appoint his/her replacement for Vice President as deemed appropriate. The Vice President shall also maintain the official Club rosters of members and the “Mopar or No Car” High Points Award contest point status thereof, to be public knowledge to all Club members at each membership meeting. May also represent the club to the community.
c) Membership Vice President: The Membership Vice President will recruit new members through club promotion and provide a welcome atmosphere for prospective and new members. Distribute and collect new member forms. Put information in roster. May also represent the club to the community.
c) Secretary: The Secretary shall keep records of all meetings and will provide a summary of the meeting for the E-newsletter/Facebook to the P.R. Director. He or She will be required to monitor and control all Club assets.
d) Activity / Cruise Director: The Activity / Cruise Director is in charge of coordinating all Club activities and cruises which are not show related. It is required that each fiscal month, the Activity / Cruise Director designates an event for the benefit of the members.
e) Public Relations (P.R.) Director: The P.R. Director will produce and distribute a monthly newsletter called FCMM Connection to Club members and other members of the Mopar community. He or She is responsible for the content of the newsletter. More information about the newsletter can be found in Article XIV.
f) Sergeant at Arms: The sergeant at arms shall provide input at Board meetings, perform assigned and delegated tasks, and assist the Board of Directors in any capacity needed. And will perform any and all duties as deemed appropriate by the Board of Directors. Also, he or she in charge of correspondence to all shows related to the Club. He or She is to be knowledgeable of any show in the surrounding area, as well as provide information and entry forms to all shows. He or She is also in charge of developing formats for shows, as well as delegating tasks to be fulfilled as needed. Maintains final say on approval or disapproval to all Club shows and displays.
Section 2 – Election of Officers:
a) Qualifications: All candidates for officer positions must be members in good standing and active members of the club.
b) Term of Office: The term of office for elected officers shall be 24 months which shall run from February through January of the appropriate year. Nominations for officers shall be taken at the October, November and December General Membership Meetings. Elections will be held at the January meeting, with the new Board of Directors to be sworn in at the February meeting by the outgoing President. March will be a transition period in that each outgoing Board Member will be responsible for guiding and helping his / her elected replacement to perform his / her Board duties for this entire first month.
c) Term Limitations: No Club member shall hold the same position on the Board of Directors for more than two (2) consecutive terms. If there are no nominations for a position or if a nomination is not accepted by an individual, the Board may appoint a person to fill that position. They will serve in that position if approved by a majority of members attending the next regularly scheduled Club meeting.
ARTICLE V
Section 1 – The Mopar or No Car High Points Award: This contest among Club members is designed to encourage member participation in events and activities to promote the Club in our communities and to promote fellowship among members.
a) The contest is open to all members of the club except for those serving on the Board of Directors. Members are not eligible to win consecutive awards.
b) Points are earned by doing things listed below and reporting your participation to the Vice President. The point standing contest year shall be from November 1 through October 30 of the next year. The point system will be controlled and monitored by the Vice President, who has the final say on determination and any allowances thereof.
c) Points are awarded as follows:
1) Attending a club meeting......................................1 point
2) Driving a Mopar to a club meeting / club event....1 point
3) Attending a club designated Activity....................1 point
4) Attending a Cruise Night.......................................1 point each (2 points/month max)
*Cruise Nights are designated cruises as approved by the Board of Directors.
5) Attending a club Work Activity................................2 points
6) Attending a club designated Special Activity...........5 points
7) Wearing a Club shirt to a meeting / event....1 point
😎 Recruit a new Club member......................................2 points
9) Providing Content to the E-newsletter...................1 point each
d) Official Club events, wearing apparel, and designated special events shall be determined by the current Board of Directors, and discussed at the beginning of the new club year.
e) The winner of the most accrued points at the end of the contest year will receive a free gift chosen by the Board of Directors.
ARTICLE VI
Section 1 - Amendment to the By-laws: A member may propose an amendment to the By-laws by submitting a signed, written proposal to the Board of Directors. It will then be reviewed by the Board and will be presented to the general membership at the next regularly scheduled Club meeting. A two-thirds majority of votes cast by current members shall approve or deny the proposal. If approved, it will be added to the By-laws immediately. If denied, the proposal cannot be resubmitted until the next Board officially takes office.
ARTICLE VII
Section 1 - Personal Liability: All persons or corporations extending credit to, contracting with, or having any claim against the Club or the Board Of Directors shall look only to the funds and property of the Club for payment of any such contract or claim or for the payment of any debt, damage, judgment, or decree or any other monies that otherwise become due or payable to them from the Club or the Board, so that neither the members of the Club or the Board Of Directors present, past, or future, shall be liable personally thereof.
ARTICLE VIII
Section 1 - Club Liability: Neither the Club, nor its Board of Directors, nor its members shall be held liable for any loss or damage due to fire, theft, or accidents at any and all Club meetings, functions, and events that the Club directs or participates in directly or indirectly.
Section 2 - FCA Compliances: It will be the responsibility of the Board Of Directors to insure full compliance with the use and association of all FCA Corporation logos and descriptors, as well as maintain necessary correspondence with such, so as to insure no infractions occur, to which may effectively disable the Club. It is further stated that “FCMM” is currently within the prescribed confines associated with the FCA, with full intention to continue in said fashion.
ARTICLE IX
Section 1 - By-Laws Review: At the beginning of each new term of office, the new Board of Directors will be required to review the by-laws so as to insure the Club is within full compliance, as well as recommend revisions or additions as appropriate. A copy of the by-laws should be provided to all members when they join the club and after each revision. A current copy should be maintained at each meeting so as to insure that any disputes may be resolved promptly.
ARTICLE X
Section 1 - Club History: It will be the responsibility of the outgoing President to pass on the written history of the Club, its prior Board of Directors, and prior by-laws to the incoming President -primarily to continue the uniform building of the Club, maintaining pertinent history, as well as identifying changes that have affected the Club. The information shall be general knowledge for all members which will effectively document the history of “FCMM.
ARTICLE XI
Section 1 – FCMM E-newsletter: Each month the Club will publish FCMM Connection, an E-newsletter
for the benefit of its members and interested parties in the Mopar community.
a) Overall responsibility for the preparation and production will be the responsibility of the P.R. Director/Editor but the input of all members is needed to make it a worthwhile publication.
b) Each Club officer will be provided space for a monthly column for their comments, announcements or other communications to the membership.
c) All members are encouraged to submit photos, ads for items wanted or for sale, articles or ideas for stories in the newsletter that are consistent with the Club’s focus on all things Mopar.
d) The newsletter is a family publication and represents the Club in the community. As such, no controversial or offensive material of any kind will be published.
e). The Vice-President and Secretary will provide the Editor with a current list of members and recipients, including those persons whose memberships are expiring or new members who have joined the club so the newsletter emailing list may be kept current.
ARTICLE XV
Section 1 – FCMM Car Show: The FCMM annual Appleton Mopar Car Show is a Mopar only show.
A Mopar has previously been defined by the Club as a vehicle with either a body or power train, or both, that was produced by Chrysler or one of its predecessor companies, (Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, DeSoto, Imperial, Jeep, AMC, etc.) Car show entry is open to the public and public spectators are welcome. The club donates a portion(s) of the proceeds of the show to a local charity or charities.
If a person does not have a Mopar vehicle to enter into the show but still wants to support our club and our chosen charity(ies), that person may make a donation to the club in the amount equal to or greater than the regular show entry fee. They will not be eligible to register a non-Mopar vehicle for judging. Their non-Mopar vehicle will not be judged. They will not be eligible for any award or for a door prize. They will not be eligible to park a non-Mopar on the show field. As with any other public spectator, they may participate in raffles, 50/50 pots, or other such activities to raise money for charity(ies).
Article XVI
Section 1 –Facebook will take the place of the E-newsletter. Treat everyone’s rides with respect. No swearing, no alcohol pictures, no nudity, no illegal content and no street racing. The FCMM group page must maintain a closed group status to be in compliance with FCA guidelines. Rule violators will be notified and corrections will be made. At the discretion of the Board of Directors violators may be banned.
Due to a ceast and desist order from FCA, anyone posting,selling or promoting any unlicensed FCA merchandise will be banned immediately.
