Automotive & Light Truck Mechanic
Front Row Trucks is looking for a talented, experienced Automotive & Light Truck Mechanic to join our team.
We are a unique, multipurpose repair and collision facility that works on everything from cars and light trucks to large trucks and buses. We are also a certified PPG commercial paint and coating facility with a 70-foot paint room. Our work includes full collision repair, fabrication, medium- and heavy-duty truck body removal and installation, and refurbishing used trucks and equipment.
About the Position
This position will primarily support our used-car and light-truck dealership operations. You will be responsible for performing mechanical inspections, diagnosing problems, and completing the necessary repairs to keep our inventory and customer vehicles safe, reliable, and ready for the road.
Our shop is an 8-person team, and everyone brings their own specialized skills to the wide variety of work we handle. We're looking for someone who can work independently without constant supervision, while also being comfortable asking for or offering help when needed.
The work can include:
• Engine and transmission replacement
• Check-engine-light diagnostics and repairs
• Brake repairs
• Suspension and steering repairs
• Heating and A/C service
• Electrical diagnostics and repairs
• Preventative maintenance
• General automotive and light-truck repairs
We have modern diagnostic scanners, specialty tools, and shop equipment to handle the work. Bring your tools—we'll provide the rest.
Why Work With Us?
Tired of the corporate shop environment? We're a friendly, low-pressure team where quality workmanship matters more than rushing through a job.
There are no flat-rate times and no pressure to cut corners. Our goal is simple: do the job right and avoid comebacks.
We work:
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Occasional Saturdays are available for employees who want additional overtime, but Saturday work is not mandatory.
Pay is based on experience.
We are looking for a dependable mechanic who takes pride in their work, can diagnose problems independently, and wants to be part of a team where everyone works together.
If you're looking for a steady, varied, and relaxed work environment where you can use your skills and have some independence, we'd like to hear from you.
