Yesterday morning, the rain wouldn’t stop. By evening, the sound of raindrops had been replaced by hundreds of excited little voices. ❤️
After watching the rain pour down all day, we weren’t sure Apollo Beach K-8’s Trunk or Treat would even happen. But somehow, just when we needed it, the skies cleared enough for a beautiful evening.
Hundreds of children showed up in their costumes, running from trunk to trunk, collecting candy, laughing with friends, and making memories with their families.
But for our Apollo Beach Motors family, this evening meant a little something more.
Our owner, Craig, has a grandchild who attends Apollo Beach K-8, making this event especially meaningful. Having the family come together to help and watching so many local families enjoy the evening made it even more special.
Because one day, these children will be grown. They may not remember every costume or every piece of candy, but we hope they’ll remember nights like this — the excitement, the laughter, and the feeling of growing up in a community that comes together for them.
A heartfelt thank you to the Apollo Beach K8 PTSA for all the time and effort that went into making this event possible, especially with the weather keeping everyone guessing. And thank you to every family who stopped by our trunk and shared a little piece of their evening with us.
These are the memories that make Apollo Beach feel like home.
Now we want to see your memories! What was your favorite part of the evening? Share your pictures and stories below. 🎃
