After another successful sick week, I need to thank some people and companies. Success depends on surrounding yourself with good people. Below is a list of those people and companies. I apologize now if I missed anyone.
First of all, my wife and kids. My wife Kara has always supported this insane hobby regardless of how much time or money it consumes. They understand my passion and I couldn't do it without their support.
Streetcar Shenanigans Performance - Nick Larson, Dan Schmidt and the whole team there. They understood the goal and also understood that looks were as important as performance. These guys exceeded my expectations on the finished product as well as support during the week. Hard to find a shop that can fabricate a custom turbo kit, do all the wiring and plumbing, tune the car, and make it all happen in a couple of months. These guys are top notch.
Bob Gruber and Margaret - We rolled together all week on the drives. Most of the videos of the car were thanks to Margaret. Thank you for that! Bob, time to put an A in front of that number next year.
Jimmy Rinehart - Thank you for the use of your shop to make necessary repairs during the week.
Rollins Automotive - Thank you for opening your shop to us after hours to make repairs
Pro Tree Race Cars - Andy Smith - Chassis work to setting up rear gears , always willing to help and support. Finally to the point we need the 7.50 cage. May need to look at adding some bars in the future
HPT Turbochargers - I am a new customer and the moment we needed something, they came through in a big way. These 68/70's make some power
VP Racing fuels and Jason Rueckert - Long time supporter of my racing program
Team UPR Products - These guys have pretty much been with me from day one.
Sean Scobee - Scobee Built Transmissions - Always fixes what I find a way to tear up.
Ed Curtis / Flowtech Induction - From day one, always supported my program. Great friend/mentor and PR guy. Maybe one day a co-pilot?
Lou Herfurth / HARM mufflers - Love the aluminum exhaust and drag and drive mufflers. Thanks for the support buddy
Tim Donathen - a lot of attention to detail on all the work to get this car ready and reliable for a drag and drive. 2 sick weeks and 2000+miles and that trailer hitch is still holding strong
Racewires/Troy Baum - Thanks Buddy!
Black Magic Clutches/Ram Clutch - Cale Aronson at Black Magic as well as Pat and Mike at RAM Clutches.
Brian Smith - Great friend and the best co-pilot anyone could ask for. He pretty much single handedly changed the car over everyday. It was like old times riding down the road in the Cobra
Steven Winningham - Thanks for inviting me along to my first drag and drive. It's your fault I'm hooked on this. Learned a lot from you.
Sick The Magazine - Outstanding Event and Staff. Definitely focused on providing the best racing experience
Motion Raceworks/TBM brakes - Thank you for the TBM shop tour. Not a sponsor but I do run a lot of their products on my car. American owned and American made. Need more companies like this.
I do wish my buddy Scott Soberg was here to see two orange helmets sitting next to each other. Miss ya buddy.
Thanks to everyone that reached out to say congratulations. Again, I'm sorry if I missed anyone. A week isn't enough recovery time!
