❄️ IS YOUR VEHICLE READY FOR A MICHIGAN WINTER? 🚗

Cold mornings, snow, ice, road salt and potholes are coming. Before Michigan winter really settles in, now is a good time to make sure your vehicle is ready for what’s ahead.

A few important things to check:

🔋 Battery — Cold temperatures can expose a weak battery fast.

🛞 Tires — Good tread and proper tire pressure are important for winter traction.

💧 Coolant — Proper coolant condition helps protect your engine from freezing temperatures.

🌧️ Wipers — Snow, slush and road spray make good visibility a must.

🛑 Brakes — You want dependable stopping power when roads get slick.

🔧 Fluids — Winter is hard on your vehicle, so make sure important fluids are at the proper level and in good condition.

🔥 Heat — Don’t wait until the first freezing morning to find out your heater isn’t keeping you warm!

Michigan winter can be tough on vehicles. A little preparation now can help prevent some unwanted surprises later. ❄️

💡 ARE YOUR LIGHTS READY FOR SHORTER DAYS? 🍂

Fall in Michigan means less daylight and more driving in the dark. That makes your vehicle’s lights even more important for seeing the road AND making sure other drivers can see you.

Now is a great time to check your:

🔦 Headlights for brightness and proper operation
🔴 Brake lights so drivers behind you know when you’re stopping
🟠 Turn signals to clearly communicate your next move
💡 Exterior lights for burned out or dim bulbs

As the days get shorter, make sure your vehicle is ready for those darker Michigan drives. 🍁🚗

We’re closed today, but you can schedule anytime at ronsgaragea2.com or call 734-662-8379 and leave a voicemail. Todd or Stephanie will return your call on Monday!

🍂 COOLANT AND YOUR HEATING SYSTEM 🔥🚗

As Michigan temperatures start dropping, your vehicle’s coolant has two important jobs: protecting your engine AND helping keep your cabin warm.

Coolant that’s old, contaminated, low, or no longer providing proper protection can contribute to overheating, corrosion, cooling system problems, and poor heater performance. And nobody wants to discover their heat isn’t working on the first freezing morning! 🥶

Keeping your coolant in good condition helps:
🔧 Protect your engine from extreme temperatures
❄️ Prevent freezing during Michigan winters
🔥 Keep your heating system working properly
💧 Protect cooling system components from corrosion

Not sure about the condition of your coolant? We can help.
