Shasta Speedway is excited to that the final race of the year for Northstate Recycling Super Late Models, Modifieds, Roto Rooter Plumbing of Redding, Cox and Cox Construction Legends and the Anderson Smog Shop and Repair Hornets will go back to a two day event, Friday October 2nd will feature qualifying and heat races that determine main event starting positions and Saturday October 3rd will see Main Events. There will also be a practice day on Thursday.

More information on payouts and scheduling will be released soon.

ATTENTION Modified Drivers

In a effort to mire and get closer rule packages to other Modified Series, Tracks and the Openwheel Showdown we got some bad information regarding rear differentials. Moving forward we are going back to the original 2026 Shasta Speedway Rule book regarding Rear Ends rule #14.

We apologize for the confusion and look forward to seeing every on September 12th.

ATTENTION MODIFIED DRIVERS

In an effort to make Shasta Speedway more compatible with other West Coast tracks, management has elected to adjust the rules to allow Open Rear ends in the Modified division.

This rule adjustment will go into effect for the September 12th race.

NEW TICKETING PRICING AND BIKE GIVEWAY ON CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT SEMPTEMBER 12TH

Shasta Speedway is excited to announce new pricing for Championship Night on September 12th, Adult/Senior/Veteran ticket will be $10, Children 6 to 12 will be $5 and Children under 6 will be free. This discounted ticket price is only available online, see the link below. Ticket prices on the day of the event will remain at $20 for Adults and $5 for Children 6 to 12.

As an extra added bonus Shasta Speedway in partnership with the great Super Late Model drivers and teams there will be a kids bike giveaway, at this time there will be 25 bike giveaways.

CONTRACT EXTENSION

In a continuing effort to retain stability in pavement racing in the North State, Shasta Speedway management under the direction of Steve Schmitt is excited to announce a four year extension on the lease from the Shasta District Fairgrounds.
With the stability that this announcement brings, fans and racers are going to see major improvements to the facility as well as bringing a feeling of security in knowing that there is a long term goal for the track that will be beneficial for all those involved.
More exciting news will be coming soon.

ATTENTION STREET STOCK DRIVERS

As we continue to transition from the old Bomber Class to the new Street Stock class we feel that we need to adjust some rules for the betterment of the class.

Weight: The total minimum weight will change from 3400 lbs to 3250 lbs, the reasoning behind this is the weight included the passenger, so with no passenger there is no reason to have to add that much extra weight to the car.

Weight Jacks: Front weight jacks will be allowed with a 100 lbs weight penalty. Rear weight jacks are not allowed.

With the great support from the Northern California and Oregon drivers we are excited to announce that Modifieds will be added to the September 12th and October 3rd races.

Also a big shoutout to Bob and Nadine Strauss for helping revive the Modified class at Shasta Speedway.
