‼️COMPLETE RESTORATION — 1995 Honda Accord EX ‼️
I get surprised when y’all come to me with these old cars that aren’t worth much on paper and ask for work that exceeds the value of the car by more than 3 or 4 times. But then I remember, every car has a story with sentimental value that far exceeds the value of the work being done. Thus, it comes full circle, and Im grateful get the privilege of being part of something that means more than money.
This story is simple. This car was purchased new by a woman no longer with us, and has been within the family all of its life. It lived a portion of its life as a daily commuter where it gained most of its milage and typical use. The original owners Daughter (my client) regained ownership, and decided she wanted her Mother’s car back to original condition. The rest is as follows…
145k miles on the engine and transmission which were both still in great shape, just developed a lot of leaks over the last 30 years.
A complete engine reconditioning was in order. All new Honda seals, cylinder head refresh, cleaning, and new reliable timing components.
The engine bay was stripped and thoroughly cleaned. The failing ABS unit has also been removed and replaced with all new Non-ABS components.

Even the transmission got a thorough cleaning. This original unit still shifts like new.
OEM freshness. As always with OEM projects, I ensured all smog components are clean and in working order to avoid any future CA emissions issues.
5 lug conversion courtesy of FatFour Customs, including BB6 Prelude front rotors and calipers. The front and rear suspension received a complete overhaul as well. New bushings, ball joints, struts, steering components as well as cleaning as I go.
Cleaning the interior is no exception when it comes to a restoration job. Lots of spare change was acquired and saved as tip money.
As you can imagine, 30 years worth of dirt and spilled coffee gets in real deep.
Fortunately the seats were in great condition and didn’t need any repairs, they were just dirty so the front and rear seats received and deep cleaning.
