Check out this 1950s micro racer! 🏁👇
At just 1.5” long, this stamped sheet-metal toy car features white plastic wheels, the number #5, and a vintage Mobilgas Pegasus emblem on the side fender.
It’s a genuine 1950s “penny toy” that sat hidden inside a ’57 Bel Air drag racer while the car was parked away for 30+ years! A tiny piece of gas station and racing history preserved in time. 🏎️🔥
What’s the coolest vintage item you’ve ever found inside a project car? Let me know below! 👇

The rats chewed up a lot of the electrical and I would say most of all has been addressed , new rotor / cap / spark plugs & wires , new oil , primed motor via oil pump , cylinders were lubed , engine cranked via crank bolt , now on to the fuel and brake systems . Yep previous owner deleted Emergency Brakes who needs those “ it’s all about going fast “🤣🤣🤣. not a . Can’t wait to hear this thing Run!

It was raced in way back in the days by a local Hotrodder and owner , he’s told me the stories and you have to just Love the history that we share with these objects and it’s tough to se them go when the time comes . Who knows anything about in Orange County ?
