DOES CERAMIC WINDOW TINT REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Well, here’s something you can actually see for yourself! 👀

On my way back to the shop from a flat glass estimate today, I had my BTU meter with me and decided to do a quick test on my truck.

🔥 Window DOWN (No Tint): 237 BTUs

❄️ Window UP (AutobahnCeramic i3): 9–10 BTUs

That’s approximately 96% less heat energy reaching the meter! 🤯

Now imagine the difference that can make when you’re sitting in your vehicle on a hot summer day!

This is why we always say not all window tint is created equal. There’s a BIG difference between tint that just makes your windows darker and quality ceramic tint that’s designed to help block heat.

🔥 THE BEST DOESN’T STAY THE BEST FOREVER! 🔥

The dogs (pictured below) made the final call on this one. 😂

This homeowner wanted some privacy and to knock down the heat and glare coming through the front windows, but she had one concern: she didn’t want her dogs scratching up film installed on the inside.

No problem.

Instead, we installed Edge Cool Alloy exterior reflective film on the outside of the glass.
