Derek Hahn has been a Salesman at Street Toyota for 9 1/2 years. His favorite thing about working at Street is all of the people!

People may use the words "Canadian, honest, and fun" when describing Derek.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending his time golfing. He describes his perfect day full of an equal mix of golf and just relaxing.

Another successful May Blood Drive makes us oh, so happy and eager to host another! Thank you to all of our gracious donors who give the selfless gift of life to those in our community who need it in their most vulnerable. It truly does not go unnoticed.

This year's Amarillo Chamber of Commerce's BusinessConnection Tradeshow was amazing!! It's always a blast catching up with old friends, making new ones, and getting to share all of the amazing things that we do at Street Toyota everyday!

Our Street Toyota Service and Parts teams had an AMAZING evening of team-appreciation last night! It was full of nothing but good fun, lots of laughter, amazing giveaways, and topped off with delicious food and drinks as a small gesture of thanking them for the amazing work they do for our customers and our dealership. ☺️

🌟 MAY EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH 🌟

Judy Daniels has been our Used Car Title Clerk here at Street Toyota for 10 1/2 years. Her favorite things about working at Street are hard to pin down because in her words, "there's too much to choose from!"

People may describe Judy as kind, savvy, and always there when you need her.

Outside of work, Judy enjoys participating in a bit of DIY! Her perfect day would be hanging out with not only her family, but her cats as well.

Fun Facts about Judy:
⭐ She enjoys watching the birds from her kitchen window and cat videos on TikTok.
⭐ Her first car was a maroon, 2-door Dodge Dart (1970 or 1971)?

Cinco de Mayo celebrations start today with the Amarillo Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s Fajita Festival at Hodgetown from 5 to 10 p.m. The event features all-you-can-eat fajitas and live music from Los Hermanos Mendoza and Conjunto Relincho.

On Saturday at 10 a.m., the Cinco de Mayo Grand Parade will make its way from Alamo Park and back. The parade will feature classic cars, floats, decorated cars and plenty of people. There will be music after the parade.

Also, after the parade, the El Barrio Lions Club will host its 5th annual Cinco de Mayo celebration at Alamo Park with burgers and hotdogs served by the Lions Club disaster relief trailer.

On Saturday from noon to 2 p.m., Street Toyota will host its annual Cinco de Mayo celebration, featuring games, face painting, and tacos from Tacos Jalisco. Al Son del Folklore will perform, and Ruckus, the Amarillo Sod Poodle’s mascot, will make an appearance.
