🚨 RACER UPDATE – SATURDAY SCHEDULE CHANGE 🚨

Hey Racers,
Unfortunately, we've battled lightning and intermittent sprinkles throughout the evening and have made the decision to end activities for tonight and resume tomorrow.

We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as safety will always be our top priority.

🏁 UPDATED SATURDAY SCHEDULE 🏁

Gates Open: 10:00 AM

Test & Tune: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Break: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Time Trials Begin: 4:00 PM
We will run 2 Time Trials

Eliminations/Racing to Follow Immediately After

While tonight didn't cooperate, tomorrow is shaping up to be a great day at the racetrack with temperatures around 78° and excellent racing conditions expected.

Thank you for sticking with us through the weather challenges. Get some rest, be safe traveling, and we'll see everyone tomorrow ready to chase some wins and make up for lost time!

The NHRA.TV Wally Race weekend is here at Amarillo Dragway, and we want to see who's making the trip! Whether you're coming from across town or across state lines, drop a photo of your rig, race car, trailer, junior dragster, crew, or your view headed down the highway!

The past two weeks have been incredible with the NHRA South Central Division 4 Wild West Classic, and now we're doing something very few tracks get the opportunity to do — hand out another prestigious 75th Anniversary NHRA Wally the very next weekend!

🏁 Racers, we know you're all keeping an eye on the weather—and so are we! 🏁

The good news is that the rain chances continue to decrease with each forecast update, and it's shaping up to be a very pleasant weekend for some Wally hunting at Amarillo Dragway! 🏆

As always, we'll continue monitoring conditions closely, but right now the forecast is trending in the right direction with milder temperatures and improving chances for a great weekend of racing.
