Racers, here's an important schedule update for this weekend at Amarillo Dragway!

Due to the extreme heat forecast, we've made a few adjustments to help provide a more comfortable and enjoyable racing experience for everyone.

Friday Night โ€“ Test N Tune & Roll Racing

Gates Open: 5:30 PM

Test N Tune: 6:30 PM โ€“ 9:30 PM

Roll Racing: 10:00 PM โ€“ 12:00 AM

Bring your race car, street car, truck, or anything you want to make some passes with and enjoy a full evening of racing under the lights!

Saturday โ€“ Bracket Series Race

Because of the anticipated heat, we will move the program later into the evening.

Gates Open: 5:00 PM

Time Trials Begin: 7:00 PM

Eliminations to Follow

We understand this means the event will run later into the night, but we believe it's the best decision for the safety and comfort of our racers, spectators, and staff. We will do everything possible to keep the program moving efficiently and wrap things up as quickly as we can while still providing a quality racing surface and event.

Racers, after evaluating the weather situation and looking at every possible option, we have decided to race today's Big Money race tomorrow and receive the NHRA 75th Anniversary Wally!

That means tomorrow you'll have the opportunity to race for both today's event and a Wally, making for a full day of racing and a great opportunity to salvage the weekend.

So we'll use today's race on the flyer for tomorrow plus the Wally! Just to clarify, we are running one race tomorrow which will be today's race plus receiving a Wally!!

We sincerely apologize for the circumstances, but please know we're doing everything we can to make this happen in a way that allows everyone to race, have fun, and enjoy the weekend.
