While browsing at a local dealership, I stumbled across this Lexus. Someone, most likely the dealership, restored the lights with a clear coat style restoration kit. While they look decent now, whoever buys this Lexus will no doubt have to get them done again in the near future.

Why? Because clearcoat isn't designed for clear surfaces. UV light will break down the clear, causing cracking and fading within months.

Call us for the right restoration. With 12 yrs experience, we've seen how bad the clearcoat style restorations can be.

We happened to get a couple of jobs where the customer wanted us to match an old headlight to a new one. We think we did a pretty good job!

Remember, we've been doing headlight restorations for over a decade, we quite probably have more experience than any others in town combined! We also do side glass restoration, rock chip repair, plastic window restoration (think plastic Jeep windows).

We use no harsh chemicals and only use products designed for acrylic restoration.

We never clearcoat headlights, simply because aside from a very expensive UV clearcoat, just doesn't work.

Since its probably the most asked question we get, let's talk a little about longevity!

We've noticed quite a few more businesses offering headlight restoration in the Amarillo/ Canyon area, but I'd challenge any of them to longevity. Whether it be how long they've been in business, or how long their restorations last. If they give you some length of time that sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Ask them how they know their restorations last __x__ amount of time.

We know how long ours last because we have been doing this for over a decade! If anyone says they will offer you a lifetime restoration, they are simply assuming you'll be getting rid of the vehicle and it gets them off the hook. There are no headlights, whether factory or restorations, that will last a lifetime. Acrylic lens headlights have been in vehicles over 30 years and manufacturers still haven't figured out that trick.
