231,910 MILES — AND STILL EXPLORING
Some cars are meant to be driven.
And then there are cars that seem to have a mission.
Our client Wes recently returned from another 10-day driving adventure through Colorado in his 2014 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet.
The trip included driving to the summit of Pikes Peak, followed by several days crossing some of Colorado's high mountain passes—including Hoosier Pass at 11,539 feet and several other passes above 10,000 feet.
And the odometer?
231,910 miles.
We've had the privilege of servicing Wes's Porsche since 2020, during which time he's put approximately 132,000 miles on the car. Over the years, we've watched this 911 do exactly what a Porsche like this was meant to do: Be driven on exciting adventures!
Long-distance road trips across the country. Mountain roads. High elevations. Thousands upon thousands of miles.
Wes recently sent us this message:
"The car is running great! Compliments to all at GCR. Thanks again for keeping the 'Touring Car' in top shape and ensuring it remains a strong and reliable long-distance traveler."
That's the kind of message that means a lot to us.
At German Car Repair, we believe maintaining a car isn't just about getting it through its next service appointment. It's about understanding how our clients actually use their cars and helping keep them ready for the next adventure.
231,910 miles and counting.
Here's to wherever the road takes you next, Wes.
