1975 Buick LeSabre
This luxo-barge from the Malaise era of American automobile manufacturing sat dormant for decades in Philadelphia prior to its rescue by a client of mine. He restored the vehicle, and has kept it running and shining with me ever since.
A few years ago, I performed a full body wet sand and polish to improve upon the refinished paint surfaces.
Let’s face it: some painters lay great substrates, but cannot perform post-production polishing the way a seasoned detailer can. Call it time constraints, call it a different skillset, call it whatever you want. Lots of holograms, swirls, sanding artifacts were left behind.
I erased them, and now the car stands tall (and long).
This visit was a maintenance clean and wax. Just enough to keep her pretty in the garage, and ready for random outings.
