A few inches can completely change your finish.

Fact of the Day: Spray distance matters.

Whether you’re spraying activator, paint, or clear, keeping a consistent distance from the part can make a big difference in your final result.

Spraying too close can create heavy spots, runs, or uneven coverage. Spraying too far away can cause dry spots or poor transfer.

Slow down, stay consistent, and let the product do what it’s supposed to do.

Small adjustments can make a big difference in the finish.

**Friday Tip of the Day:** Don’t overload the part with clear.

Clear coat is what protects the finish and gives the project its final look, but more isn’t always better. Too much clear too fast can lead to runs, sags, solvent trapping, or longer cure times.

Build your clear in controlled coats and give each coat the proper flash time before moving on.

A smooth finish comes from patience, not rushing the process.
