The Damage You Can’t See

A little bump in a parking lot. A small dent in the bumper. No broken glass, no obvious damage, and the car still drives just fine.

It might seem like nothing to worry about.

But behind that bumper cover are mounting brackets, retainers, and other components that can crack, bend, or shift during an impact. Some damage simply isn’t visible until the bumper is removed and the area is inspected.

If those issues go unnoticed, the bumper may not stay securely attached or perform as designed in a future collision.

That’s why even a minor accident deserves a closer look.

There’s a lot more to a repair than what you see in the shop!

Before a vehicle is ready to hit the road again, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes. We work with insurance companies, coordinate approvals, prepare vehicles for bodywork, complete repairs, prep for paint, and work through each step until the job is done.

We handle much of the insurance legwork along the way to help keep the process moving.

One thing that helps? Getting your vehicle to the shop as soon as possible. The sooner the process can get started, the sooner we can begin working through the steps needed to get your vehicle repaired.

There’s a whole team and a lot of work behind every finished vehicle, and we take pride in seeing each one through! 🔧🎨

Years ago, our team at Duke City Auto Body had the opportunity to paint and perfect this oversized skate for Skate-O-Mania, and it’s pretty special to see a piece of our work connected to a place that’s been part of the community for so long.

We recently heard that Skate-O-Mania may be closing its doors next month, and we’d love to see this longtime local favorite stick around!

If you haven’t been in a while, consider making a trip out for some skating, bringing the kids, or planning a fun night with friends. Supporting local businesses helps keep these places around for the next generation to enjoy.
