🚨DAY 20 OF POSTING JOHN UNTIL HE FINDS A FOSTER OR ADOPTER🚨

⏰0 DAYS LEFT. TODAY IS THE DAY. 10/13⏰

Well… here we are.💔 20 posts. Countless shares. SO many people rooting for 1 ridiculously happy, goofy, affectionate, occasionally operatic pittie. And somehow… JOHN STILL NEEDS SOMEWHERE TO GO.

Today is the deadline we’ve been desperately trying to beat for over a month. And unless someone steps up, John faces returning to the city shelter, where he was previously being discussed for euthanasia. This dog does not thrive in the shelter environment. Any excessive amount of time he spends in there… is inhumane for his mental and physical health.

We’ve told you about his quirks. His medical needs. His resource guarding (towards dogs). His opera performances. His obsession with humans. His ridiculous nuzzles. His absolute inability to contain the JOY he feels simply being alive.

We’ve also told you about the incredible village standing behind him.

- Medical assistance & lifelong pain medication support
- A FREE custom orthopedic brace offer
- FREE professional training
- FREE lifetime dog sitting for an adopter
- An entire rescue committed to supporting him

WE HAVE EVERYTHING JOHN NEEDS EXCEPT A HOME. John doesn’t need a perfect human. He needs a committed human with no other animals who can give him stability, patience & love. A long-term foster willing to keep him until adoption. Or an adopter who will finally give this 6-year-old goofball the forever home he deserves. We know there are thousands of dogs who need saving. But we’ve spent the last month showing you exactly why JOHN IS WORTH SAVING TOO. We are not ready to give up on him.

PLEASE. TODAY IS THE DAY WE NEED SOMEONE TO STEP UP.

Even if you need a couple of days to figure things out, we will make sure he’s safe until you’re ready to bring him home. Do you travel a lot? Let’s talk about it. Do you work long hours? Let’s talk about. Do you have stairs? John lives on the 2nd floor of an apartment. Truly… we are doing are best to remove all barriers but even that isn’t seeming to help.

🚨DAY 20. OCTOBER 13TH. NO MORE COUNTDOWN🚨

John has spent his whole life giving people reasons to smile. Can someone PLEASE give him a reason to keep smiling?
