Used Modules? Yes I can handle that! Here we have a 2017 Hyundai Tucson that has some electrical issues after having the engine bay washed. Little did they know the ECM connector seal was incorrectly installed and allowed water in and the corrosion quickly took over. These modules are "one time VIN write" and not able to be rewritten with normal scantools or even the dealer tools. I however have special tooling and software to copy all the information from the original module into a used donor module and have it correct for the vehicle. If you've ever priced a new KIA or Hyundai engine computer you know they are usually between $1200-$1500. I was able to save the customer a lot of money by offering a used module solution.
