Dana Meyer Auto Care opened its door in 1975 and has been serving Albany, Berkeley, El Cerrito, Kensington, Richmond, El Sobrante, Hercules, and Oakland car owners ever since. We repair several makes of foreign cars: Honda, Toyota & Lexus, Subaru, Mazda, Nissan & Infiniti, and Acura as well as Volkswagen. We have serviced Toyota & Honda hybrid models since they came out. We also provide car care f

or American domestic cars: Saturn, Chrysler, Dodge, General Motors (GM) and Ford. Most repairs are performed the same day. Dana Meyer Auto Care customers appreciate our separate service desk--so you can talk to our service writer in a quiet area away from the repair shop. We also have a separate, comfortable waiting room with couches, desks, free wi-fi, and freshly brewed coffee. As a customer, you are welcome to bring your computer and work in our waiting room while we work on your car! As an independent car care shop, we provide an excellent track record of well executed repairs and reliable advice. Sometimes people will come in with a long list of repairs recommended by their dealer. We are very good at prioritizing these repairs by importance and showing you which can be spaced out.

Customer supplied parts are a big no-no at Dana Meyer Auto Care. We are unable to warranty those parts as we are based in California. You wouldn't bring bandaids to a hospital so for you and your car's safety, we provide all parts to ensure warranty and best fit.
