It is a bittersweet day at Vennard’s, as we announce the sale of our business.

First, I want to thank you - our incredible customers - who have supported us through three generations of family ownership. I am forever grateful for those who trusted our team to help you over the years, and it has been a pleasure working with you.

Like so many industries, this one has changed over the years and it was just the right time to sell the business so I have more time to focus on the things I enjoy doing. The new owners are taking over effective today, but it will not be entirely new faces at 435 N Pearl. Some staff will remain, continuing to provide the level of service you’ve come to expect.

Huge shout out to the Berkshire Bank branch in Pittsfield. This guy had all the info and ID he needed to withdrawal from our business account, but the cashier called the Albany branch to confirm the customer was actually Mike (which of course it was not!) before giving out the money. This 🤬 clown was arrested shortly after, all thanks to great customer service and attention to detail. Be careful with your account numbers, everyone!
