🆘 Not Every “Minor” Collision means minor damage.
This Corvette came to our shop looking like a straightforward rear bumper repair. But once we tore it down, we discovered a few cracks in the Corvette’s composite rear body tub—damage that wasn’t visible from the outside. That’s where experience, research, and doing the job the right way matter.
Our team thoroughly researched GM’s repair information and found that the rear body tub is not an approved repair area when damaged. Even though repairing the damaged area could’ve been repaired to industry standard, saved time, shortened the rental, and reduced the overall repair cost, it would not have been the correct repair according to GM’s procedures.
The insurance company understandably wanted the most cost-effective route. We understood that. But our responsibility is to the vehicle, our customer, and the repair—not simply to find the quickest way to put a bumper back on cause it’s easier and to save the Insurance company money, our customer always comes first. So we took the longer, more expensive, more difficult—but correct—route.
Integrity is keeping high standards behind closed doors when nobody is looking.
Here at our shop, we see that every vehicle leaves as safely, correctly repaired as we would want our own.
