Believe it or not, a worn and shredded A/C belt could potentially destroy your engine!
*2008 Hyundai Elantra 2.0L*
The shredded serpentine belt wrapped around all the timing belt gears and pulleys which caused it to jump a few teeth, and cracked the crank bolt washer.
This is flirting with disaster on an interference engine!
Luckily, the valves and pistons didn’t kiss 😘
All new belts, idlers, tensioners, crank bolt, and this girl is back on the road.
