840 Designs was started in 1998 on a dream that someday I would be able to support myself and family while at the same time doing something that I loved. By combining my love of everything automotive and everything art, I quit my 9-5 and started to fulfill my dream. 14 yrs later, I have been fortunate enough to be invited to numerous shows, be in countless magazines, and work alongside some of the worlds most talented artists.

So a long time ago these were set up in construction zones and they waved flags to warn motorists. Well the union didn’t like “robots” taking jobs. So these things were tossed out and “destroyed”… well they recently turned up and this one was in pretty bad shape but was all there. We cut off his fiberglass hard hat and did some fiberglass work to make him whole again. And the transformation started. He’s now a cowboy. We retrofitted his hand to hold an old metal toy gun and his other hand will have a stick of dynamite. Chaps, belt with holster, and a vest will complete his look. Wish I would’ve took more pics during the process but🤷🏼‍♂️. Once he’s complete and plugged in I’ll post another video. 🤠🤩🤙🏻
