Meet Jamie Celentano, one of the 50 Faces of Colony Tire!

Before joining Colony Tire, Jamie worked for the shipping ports in New Jersey. Although Jamie grew up around the tire business, building a career in the industry was not originally part of the plan.

More than 12 years ago, Jamie moved from New Jersey to Raleigh and joined Colony Tire as an administrator. Since then, Jamie has had the opportunity to work alongside many great people and learn every aspect of the business.

Today, Jamie proudly leads both the Raleigh and Staley locations.

Jamie is incredibly grateful for the opportunities Colony Tire has provided throughout the years and has always admired Charlie’s leadership and the way he put his people first. That example continues to influence the way Jamie strives to lead each day.

Meet Mann Pippen, one of the 50 Faces of Colony Tire!

Before joining Colony Tire in 2009, Mann spent 21 years with Coastal Lumber Company, where he served as chief pilot and corporate environmental, safety, and risk manager.

Mann came to Colony Tire as Safety Director and Risk Manager, taking on the company’s insurance responsibilities during his very first week. The move also brought a major transition from the highly supervised safety environment of a large forest-products manufacturer to the very different world of the service industry.

Throughout his time with Colony Tire, Mann has especially valued the people, the family atmosphere, and the challenges that come with continued growth.

For years, Mann told new-hire classes that “Colony is not just a company; it is a family.” After all this time, he still believes that today.

Thank you, Mann, for being part of the Colony Tire family and the story behind 50 years!
