IH Nationals – Day 1 🔥

The Scouts and Internationals are awesome, but our favorite part of this event is catching up with friends we consider family. What started with a shared love of old binders has turned into lifelong friendships.

They say the customer is always right so when the customer wants red rhinestones on her valve covers, who are we to argue?

We build what our customers want…within reason, of course. And since this particular customer happens to be our daughter, we’re pretty sure these bedazzled valve covers were non-negotiable. 🍒💄❗️ , always stay true to you.

This 2003 Ford Ranger has been driven by three generations, carrying memories, stories, and probably a few bad decisions along the way. Recently, it needed a new engine after the original one decided it had enough of being driven like a Formula 1 car by a certain teenage driver who was specifically told not to drive it that way. 🤣

We completed the engine swap and got this family heirloom back on the road where it belongs. There’s something special about keeping a vehicle with this much history alive for the next generation to enjoy.

The stories this 1974 Scout II could tell. 🫠 It’s been a great daily driver and a fun rig, but momma wants a new grocery getter. Specifically, we’re on the hunt for the right Trans Am.

IH 345 v8, Hamilton fuel injection, 4 speed manual, spring over lift with 33 inch BFG’s. New paint and soft top a year and half ago. Roll in heat and sound deadening topped with bed liner at that time also. Working cold A/C.

This beautiful ride came in with a serious drivetrain noise that turned into a deeper inspection. We found damaged torque converter mounting lugs, a bent flexplate, and even a dislodged pushrod hiding under the valve cover.

After replacing the damaged components, correcting the valvetrain issue, tracking down an exhaust leak, and giving everything a thorough inspection, we got this one back on the road running, shifting, and driving like it should. 🚦💨 #1970
