Big Country One Formation Flight Team flew a 6 ship Missing Man formation over the Veterans Cemetery at Abilene for U.S. Navy Veteran Hospital Corpsman Third Class (HM3) Michael Lynn Bishop. Thank you to the other 5 pilots for pulling off a very late take off to manage only being late by 40 seconds in a tight short base leg to the cemetery, amazing job! Today Big Country One Formation Flight Team flew a three aircraft “Missing Man Formation” flyover the Abilene Veterans Cemetery to honor the life and service of US ARMY Veteran Steven McCarley who was an unaccompanied veteran. We were honored to be a part of his services today. Thank you to my fellow pilots Jim Carroll and Gary Potter who have flown countless flights honoring our Veterans. Also a big thank you to Big Country One Formation Flight Team co pilot Connie Carroll who frequently flys in the formation or often videos flyovers from the ground.

Big Country One Formation Flight Team will be conducting two July 4th flyovers today! 6:55pm over the Episcopal Church Abilene at South 6th street between Sayles Blvd and Vine Street. Then at 8:35pm over the Abilene Country Club North at Industrial Blvd and S. Treadaway Blvd.
