Kampala’s roads are currently under heavy construction, and while the upgrades are necessary, the present conditions demand extra caution from every driver.

• Avoid rushing through puddles
They may conceal deep potholes or open drains
• Maintain safe distance
Give yourself enough time to react
• Stay alert
Watch for sudden diversions and obstacles
• Check your car’s condition
Tyres, brakes, and suspension must be in top shape
