✅️Brake fluid, like oil needs replacing to maintain optimum brake performance and durability of sensitive brake components, like master cylinder seals and brake caliper rubber etc.

✅️Recommended once a year.

✅️Brake fluid is hygroscopic in nature. As such it absorbs moisture and will deteriorate over time.
This can lead to premature brake system failure. You can postpone expensive brake repair if you keep your maintenence schedule.

Professional diagnosis done before part is Installed.

Toyota official technical service documentation advises replacement of this part when the brake accumulator motor fails. Typical failure results in a hard brake pedal. While repairing the brake accumulator motor can restore brake function in some instances, normal wear and accelerated degradation of internal components of master cylinder would cause the issue to reoccure.
