We’re introducing the next evolution of marine propulsion: the Volvo Penta IPS electric (E) range.
Launching in Q4 2025 with the IPS900E (up to 515 kW), the lineup will expand to include models like the IPS650E (up to 374 kW), with the goal of electrifying the entire IPS range. That means five drivelines, covering 220 kW to 1.1 MW per driveline, scaling up to 4.5 MW with quad installations.
Based on the proven Volvo Penta IPS platform, the new electric range will deliver unique features through Electronic Vessel Control (EVC), forward-facing efficiency, and outstanding maneuverability.
