BMW 3.0 CSI
What started as a straightforward engine rebuild quickly evolved into something much bigger—as is often the case with these classic cars.
After hundreds of hours of meticulous work, this project is finally ready to be handed back to its owner.
The original engine rebuild became a complete engine restoration, combining carefully selected new components with a high-quality used bottom end. Every single part was inspected, measured, cleaned, refurbished where necessary, and assembled with the utmost attention to detail. With genuine M30 engine parts becoming increasingly difficult to source, we invested countless hours researching part numbers, locating trusted suppliers, and ensuring every component met our standards. The result is an engine built to perform reliably for decades to come.
Our attention didn’t stop at the engine. The entire electrical system was redesigned and rebuilt from front to back. New wiring of the correct gauge was installed throughout the car, along with modern fuse and relay panels that improve reliability, safety, and future serviceability. Electrical loads are now properly distributed, optional features have been fully integrated, and systems such as the power windows now benefit from dedicated wiring and a stable power supply.
The suspension also received a complete overhaul. The coilovers were fully rebuilt and re-valved, while new springs with carefully selected rates were fitted to achieve the perfect balance between comfort and performance. The result is a car that feels composed and engaging to drive while maintaining the stance that makes it so special.
Beyond these major improvements lies an almost endless list of smaller details—many of which will never be noticed individually, yet together make all the difference. These are the hours that rarely appear on an invoice but define the quality of the finished product.
We don’t build cars by watching the clock. We build them because we genuinely care about doing things the right way. Every project is approached with the same commitment to craftsmanship, experience, and attention to detail. We often invest far more time than we can reasonably charge because delivering something we’re truly proud of is what drives us.
