Wow, the new SOTION FW30 water-cooled PMSM motor is here! It's designed for EV boats, EV forklifts, or any heavy machinery requiring high torque at low RPM, and it can even be used in EV cars. With a rating of 15 kW at 72V, it astonishingly produces 185 Nm of torque, yet its rated RPM is only 2500, with a peak of about 4000 RPM.
Maybe it can fit on a big EV motorcycle like a 1000cc frame because it weighs 33 kg—not really suitable for enduro bikes and scooters.
The SOTION FW30 comes in two versions: one with an inside spline and another with an outside spline. This sounds perfect for projects that need low RPM and high torque!

SoTION controller Advance:

Hey everyone, has anyone checked out the new SOTION controller app? I want to share some cool features. It's more advanced than the Fardriver for tuning, with more precise parameters to make your motor run better.

Some standout features include motor current adjustment, motor parameter tuning, flux weakening mode, hill descent control, torque control, and my favorite: sensor-less mode. It might look complicated, but Auto Tuning mode will help you out with all the parameters.

Keep an eye out for more details soon! I can't share pictures or more info yet, but it will support 48V to 144V. Stay tuned!
