The performance improved so much that extreme care have to be applied with the throttle when cornering as the wheels like to spin. The 3 litre engines of pickups have so much tuning potential as they are oversized for the stock power demand. There are still practical limits that must be observed when unleashing it's power. A puff of smoke in a very dynamic situation (acceleration request) is acceptable, but when the boost is stabilised the smoke should be barely noticeable. This means that the engine runs efficient. We observe that a typical "monkey job" tuning will transform the truck in a smoking ferry. More smoke doesn't equal more power! quite the opposite. Unburnt fuel coming out of the engine causes turbo problems and when the fuelling is so extreme (grey - white smoke) its pouring on the piston so bad that can punch a hole through it. So if you love your vehicle avoid such disgraces and opt for a proper tuning, like the one we offer.

A very common belief is that modifications of the exhaust and intake of a motorbike will somehow improve performance. Wrong. It actually makes it worst in most cases. Here is why: motorbikes don't have a Mass Air Flow sensor. More air means a leaner mixture that burns more slowly. Only after correcting the fuelling we can harvest all the gains from the improved airflow.
We were able to unleash all the monstrosity of this big bike. Stock it showed just over 180 HP which is expected , but with the correct amount of fuel it delivered a mind blowing 215 HP!

The twin brother came in for the same treatment. This case was even worse. The intake manifold was much more clogged and the swirl flaps closed shut! ...and another dozen of additional problems that we resolved one by one. A long journey from 90HP to 145HP.
Sadly the car was already victim of an incompetent workshop that replaced the injectors and the intake manifold - wrong diagnosis, wrong repair. The result was a lot of wasted money and the car was still smoking heavily. Luckily we gave it our magic touch.

A great case study for resolving bad factory design issues has come to our attention. We noticed the stock car was puffing a lot of black/grey smoke during dyno runs. Also after the software tuning the car didn't perform as expected. So we proceeded with a complete EGR removal, intake manifold modification and cleaning, catalyst removal.... after a couple of days of major surgery the car delivered a healthy 145hp at the wheels - 35hp improvement. The drivetrain could deliver much more, but we reached the limit of injector and turbo capacity. Nevertheless the car drives great with almost zero smoke!

These car models are notorious for being heavy and sluggish. So a good tune is mandatory to improve drive-ability. The car was in excellent health and showed 130HP raw power at the wheels.
After the tune it gave 161HP and now it drives like a completely new car. +31HP real power with zero smoke!
Disabling the EGR in the ecu also added better response in lower revs as it eliminates the one second throttle delay caused by the time necessary for fresh air to come into the engine.
