🌾 วันพืชมงคล — มงคลแห่งการเพาะปลูก
วันพืชมงคลเป็นพระราชพิธีโบราณ
ที่สืบทอดมาอย่างยาวนานนับพันปี
เป็นพิธีเปิดฤดูกาลเพาะปลูก
ที่พระมหากษัตริย์ทรงเป็นประธาน
เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคล
และความอุดมสมบูรณ์ของผืนแผ่นดิน
ในพิธี จะมีการไถดะในพื้นที่มณฑลพิธีสนามหลวง
โดยเจ้าพระยาแรกนาเป็นผู้นำในการไถนา
พร้อมด้วยเทพีผู้หาบกระบุงทองและกระบุงเงิน
หว่านเมล็ดพืชลงในดิน
จากนั้นพระโคจะถูกนำมาเลือกกินอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม
ซึ่งโหรหลวงจะทำนายถึง
ความอุดมสมบูรณ์ของฤดูกาลข้างหน้า
วันพืชมงคลไม่ใช่เพียงพิธีกรรม
แต่สะท้อนถึงวิถีชีวิตของชาวไทยที่ผูกพันกับผืนดิน
และเป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งความกตัญญูต่อธรรมชาติ
และการเกษตรซึ่งเป็นรากฐานของชาติ
ขอให้ฤดูกาลเพาะปลูกนี้อุดมสมบูรณ์
และชาวไร่ชาวนาทั่วแผ่นดินมีความผาสุก 🌱

🌾 Royal Ploughing Ceremony — A Sacred Blessing for the Land
The Royal Ploughing Ceremony is one of Thailand's most ancient royal traditions, dating back over a thousand years. Held each year to mark the beginning of the rice-growing season, it is presided over by the King and celebrated with great reverence as a blessing for a bountiful harvest.
At the heart of the ceremony, the Lord of the Ploughing leads a procession across Sanam Luang in Bangkok, guiding a plough drawn by sacred oxen while ceremonial attendants scatter rice and seeds upon the earth. The sacred oxen are then offered a selection of foods — grains, grasses, sesame, and water — and royal astrologers interpret which foods the oxen choose to predict the abundance of the coming season.
More than a ritual, the Royal Ploughing Ceremony is a profound expression of Thailand's enduring bond with the land and a tribute to the farmers who form the backbone of the nation.
