A note about motorcycle brake pads.
I often get asked why some EBC Brakes packs say Made in UK and others say Made in USA.
EBC's sintering plant is in Ohio, USA, so that's where the brake pads with friction materials that require the sintering process are made (Scooter HH, HH, EPFA, GPFAX, R & MXS)
Organic compounds (Scooter organic, Scooter carbon, big bike organic, semi-sintered V and carbon mx) are all made in the EBC manufacturing plant in Bristol, England.
Something to note here though is that 'sintered' is not a material, it is a process. All sintered pads are not the same, most are sintered ferrous metal.
EBC use zero ferrous metal in their compound which is why EBC's are much kinder to discs (less wear). The longer life and higher performance, that's just because they are developed to be the best.
Buy Brakes because of their performance properties or price, not because of the manufacturing process by which they are made.
