EHRA: A New Era in RUF Performance

The new EHRA has arrived. As the latest RUF model based on our carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, the EHRA is designed with grand touring in mind while retaining the extreme performance expected of RUF vehicles. Named after the legendary Ehra-Lessien proving ground where legendary racing driver Phil Hill achieved a world record-breaking top speed feat in the CTR “Yellowbird”.

New front and rear fascias, a sleek fastback with an intentional lack of a fixed whale tail, wider front and rear tracks (58mm wider in front and 54mm wider in rear compared to the CTR Anniversary), and newly designed five-spoke centerlock forged alloy wheels give the car a purposeful look while enhancing cooling, stability and high-speed performance.

A 3.6-liter twin-turbo boxer six-cylinder engine delivers 650 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. Its fully variable all-wheel-drive system is paired with a seven-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, giving the driver confidence in all conditions and maximizing traction while retaining the possibility of rear-wheel-drive dynamics. The suspension features a double-wishbone configuration at all four corners with pushrod-actuated horizontal adaptive dampers, delivering incredibly precise feedback and immediate response to driver inputs while retaining an everyday-usable ride. Each component has been designed and engineered to achieve the perfect balance between lightweight construction, durability, precision and driver engagement.

This August, five RUF automobiles will head to Broad Arrow’s The Quail Auction in Carmel, California.

Leading the collection is the 2024 RUF SCR “Mary Stuart”, one of only six examples ever built. Joining it are the RUF RCT EVO, BTR III Cabriolet, RCT EVO Speedster, and Rt35, each representing a distinct chapter in RUF’s pursuit of performance and engineering.

The RUF Tribute is currently ouur only air cooled model- its engine, based on a gravity casted RUF engine case is 3.6 L and has 550 HP. The body is a carbon fiber monocoque and carbon skin based - the TRIBUTE brings back what we love about the air cooled era in the most modern way.

Do you know why we call it the TRIBUTE?

63 years ago, the 911 made its debut at the Frankfurt International Motor Show, and soon after Alois Ruf heard the sound of its air-cooled flat-six screaming by him on the motorway. It was love at first sound, which kicked off a chain of events that brings us to where we are today. The TRIBUTE is a tribute to that 911 and its iconic air-cooled flat-six engine.
