Our new book is not special because of the racing experience of the writer .coach.toby, because he started riding motocross very late at 16 years old, then racing a few nationals at 17-18 while being coached by some of the top riders in Denmark, and then taking a break from riding motocross to focus on study and career from 19-27 📚🤓📊
And then finally re-starting riding again from 27-40 years old in Thailand - while also becoming a writer ✍️ ..so instead the book is unique because of the combined of skillsets from University Nano Science, and coaching professionally for a decade and then lastly the racing experience and wins etc. 🙂🏆🏁
Thereby it is this "3 in 1 combination" that has enabled creating a unique framework of programs and very detailed explanations of understanding the physics of riding technique - particularly in terms of riding as effortlessly and safely as possible 🤓📊✅️
The only thing that might considered unique about the racing career and skill development of .coach.toby is that it was done very late in life from 30-40, learning all the skills from intermediate to expert and then achieving podiums in most races entered, as well as a few wins 🏆😁✅️
The surprising thing for many people is perhaps that:
- Some really good racers are not always good coaches, but they have the skills on "autopilot" ✅️
- Some really good coaches are not always good riders, but they have the skills of high level coaching ✅️
- Most really good racers and coaches have not studied science at the University level 💡
The point here is that our book is based on having those 3 skillsets✅️
We hope that this serves as an inspiration for late starters in motocross. Because it was always a dream to become a good motocross rider, and honestly I was not sure I could achieve anything noticeable in the sport with such a late start.. I also didn't have any social media following at all, when I started training hard and very focussed at around 30.. I just kept training and training +studying riding technique, coaching etc. And then slowly but surely progress happened 😁❤️🙏📊 It has been the hardest journey imaginable, but also the most beautiful - Thanks to all of you guys out there who supported us along the way🙏
