We're not going to pretend a boat has zero footprint, but the material it's made from changes the story more than most people realise. Swipe through to see what sustainable boating actually means to us.

It starts at the build: rotational moulding forms each hull in one seamless piece, creating strength through engineering rather than sheer bulk. Less material, less waste, less weight. That lighter hull then burns less fuel on every single trip. And because polyethylene is UV-resistant, impact-resistant and corrosion-proof, these boats stay in service for decades.

Then there's the part fibreglass can't answer: when its boating days are finally done, a polyethylene hull is 100% recyclable. The material gets reclaimed and given a new life, instead of sitting in landfill. Tough on the water, lighter on the planet - that's the way we think boating should be done.

Last Friday, part of the ROTO Nautica team spent an inspiring day together on a teambuilding trip filled with learning, collaboration, and nautical experiences.

We started the day at our Ankaran unit, where we gained insight into operations and daily work processes. The journey then continued to Ensol 360 - 360 Karting, where we tested our skills on the karting track and enjoyed a shared lunch in a relaxed atmosphere.

In the afternoon, we visited the Internautica, exploring the latest innovations in the nautical industry. The highlight of the day was the opportunity to get out on the water and experience our boats in action.

It was a day that brought energy, stronger connections, and fresh motivation back into our work environment, reinforcing what we build together as a team.
