Although I didn’t quite like the layout, on Grobnik… I did have a lot of fun. 😜 After a short brake… next week we’re hitting the track again, this time will join us with his E46 Coupe that we finally fixed last Saturday (when we bought it, car was working as it should… but it was seating put over the winter and car wouldn’t rev anymore over 3k rpm, strange… we changed few things all at once that could be causing the issues but now we don’t know what it really was… honestly, don’t care as long as it works now). 😅

Went to my first last weekend. I got some mixed feelings about it. 🤣 I liked being there with my team and my friends, but I’m very disappointed how I performed. It’s partially due bad tyre choice (had no grip, even on 1.2 bar/17psi)… I should have put on a second pair out of 4 tyres I bought in Rijeka as I almost ran out of tyres on Saturday due tarmac eating our tyres (made 2-3 laps at most on a set of new tyres, crazy how fast were they wearing out 🙄). But mostly was my fault, with more seat time I would easily overcome that slippery roundabout at the other side of the layout… in the end that’s on me, hence the technically difficult layout. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Will do better next time or something. 🤣

It’s Saturday morning… first ever drift climb in Slovenia, my first time drifting on a public road, my first competition after 5 year… and lack of seat time. I was nervous AF, scared, cramps in my stomach… but once I did the first run… everything went away. 😜

Besides master clutch cylinder push rod failure (it broke although I put brand new one on the car less than 1 week ago) 30 minutes before qualifying runs. 😅 Thanks to , lending me his spare one… made 1 functional out of two.

Qualified 5th… won against Blaž Podboršek in TOP16 after OMT (we both made mistakes in the first battles), in TOP8 I lost against due me spinning in the last corner of my lead run. 🤦🏼‍♂️

But I ended up winning 5th place because of my qualifications position. 😅 Won’t argue with that. 😜

I’m very excited to inform you that we got accepted to for Rd.1!!! And I got some sponsors on board… .eu and .si

Took off my gearbox yesterday from V8, clutch and pressure plate is fine… so I’m happy about that. 😅 But will be changing few things, while I’m at it. 🤣

Either my slave clutch cylinder got stuck, or the clutch line collapsed (zip tie melted and it fell down on the left side of the downpipe, will make me a new one and I’ll put a fireproof sleeve over it)… as I can’t push back the slave cylinder… so I’ll change those to, along with new guibo and stainless steel pivot pin under the fork.

Bought big ass oil cooler off my boss yesterday, so I need to sort this out as well till Rd. 1

Other than that… everything seems fine. 💪🏼

Last Sunday was absolutely EPIC, also it was my first time on Mičevac, home of CDC… even tho I f*cked something up with my clutch. I can’t completely disengage my clutch anymore. Gotta lift the car and inspect the situation. 😬 I hope it’s something fixable… and not something that needs new parts or another gearbox. 😅 I have other plans for that money, like tires or track days. 😜

I did apply myself to Rd.1 on 07. 05. 2023, hope I get accepted and I hope I can fix my car in time. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

We got to the track last evening for event, and I had a walkaround of the layout. It’s gonna be the fastest layout for me, hope my lack of seat time over the years or should I say no seat time… doesn’t bite my ass. 😅 Prolly will, tho. 🤣
