🚗 SAME BLACK PAINT. SO WHY DOES SPOT PAINTING STILL LOOK DIFFERENT?

A common question we get from customers is:

“If my car is black and you use the same black paint, why can’t you just paint the damaged spot?”

Because matching the paint colour is only part of the job. 👇

The original panel has already been exposed to sunlight, weather, washing, ageing and time. The original paint layers, thickness, clear coat and finish may also be different from freshly sprayed paint.

When you spray only a small spot, the new paint has to blend into the older surrounding paint — and the difference can become very obvious, especially under sunlight. You may end up seeing a patch, uneven colour or a visible blending area.
