Message to Singapore Traffic Police,
You keep increasing demerit points for speeding, and we understand why.
But I hope you know driving like an idiot even at slow speed also endangers and kills.
Today - auntie in a BYD Sealion cut straight into my lane. No check, no signal, just turn and pray I can avoid her.
Lucky my reflexes were fast, Brembos were there, and the next lane was empty. Otherwise this Reel would be an accident report.
There are no added demerit points for this kind of driving. Nothing much is done to protect other road users. When you turn a blind eye to this, it just encourages more of it.
And to be honest, nothing will happen. She will be back on the road tomorrow driving exactly the same way, because there are zero consequences for it.

Looks glossy right? No. Look again.
Under shop lights: perfect.
Under inspection lights: Holograms and swirls from the previous guy polishing.
This is what shops don’t want you to see. This is what you will see in the sun.
Client opted for ONE STEP, so I kept it simple.
DIY Detail Yellow Waffle + Gold Standard Polish.
Rinseless dampen towel removes polish easily, final buff with dry microfiber - no oils, no fillers.
Last clip: Same panel. Same inspection lights.
Clear. Glossy. True reflection.
Can be better? Definitely. DA Wool pad + Gold Standard then Yellow Waffle would be even sharper.
But for a ONE STEP on budget? This is as good as it gets.
Don’t get fooled by shop lights.

For those starting the ceramic coating game — shop detailers, mobile detailers, or home enthusiasts.
The DIY Detail 5 Year Ceramic is the best risk-to-reward coating I’ve used. Lowest risk of high spots, with superb gloss, slickness, hydrophobics and protection your clients will love.
After hours of paint correction, the last thing you want is a difficult coat. This one is easy to level without effort. You actually look forward to finishing the job instead of stressing over high spots or fast curing.
In SG’s 60-70% humidity, the working window is long. I can coat the whole bonnet. Or coat the entire roof. Put on my fave tune and wipe off. Bigger panels in one go = faster install.
