I’ll be the first to admit - I’m by far not the cheapest nor do I consider myself expensive. Nor do I claim to be the best, I just put in the hard work and effort to the best of my abilities.
And I know I’m not for everyone.
For those looking for a proper professional detail, done right and done properly, I consider it value for money.
I do get comments on why are you so expensive. Some even take quotations from other shops and ask why my charges are so different.
To be honest, I find it disrespectful when someone takes another shop’s quotation to press my prices down, so unfortunately I have to turn that customer away. As a business, who doesn’t want to earn money? But if you disrespect the craft and don’t appreciate the work that is going to be done, I have to turn you away. What I’m offering is not just selling you a product or a coating. It is a service, a detailing experience. It’s a personal, one-on-one experience - the enthusiast doing the detail for you, not employed help just here for the pay cheque at the end of the month. Real satisfaction is when the client leaves with a smile on his face.
For years of experience, skillset, passion, products and 110% on every single detail - there will be a difference in price.
I’m not going to fight a price war and price match those throwing tons of discounts and freebies like free interior coating, free window coating. What I’ll fight on is the quality of work being put out.
Detailing is a craft and a skillset and it is a want not a need. It is a luxury service same as PPF, tinting etc. Don’t devalue a luxury service into a low-end, cheap job with these kinds of prices, and don’t portray yourself as Robin Hood handing out freebies and discounts to attract business, just to hide your insecurities of not being able to do a good job.
If you are good people will come, people will recommend - no need to make a post, make a video claiming to be the best. Good things ain’t cheap and cheap things ain’t good.
