Not everything we work on comes with an OBD port. 😆

A little old-school engineering on the floor today… a VW Kombi air-cooled engine getting some attention from the team.

No fancy electronics. No plugging in a diagnostic computer and letting it tell you where to start.

Just mechanical know-how, experience, and getting your hands dirty.

Cars may have changed a lot over the years, but there’s something satisfying about working on machines from an era when things were a little more… mechanical.

And yes, we do enjoy it when something different rolls into Carfeels. 💙

They are a piece of motoring history. 🤎

We get all sorts of cars coming through our doors at Carfeels… from everyday family cars to performance cars, commercial vehicles and, every now and then, something that makes everyone in the workshop stop and take a second look.

This was definitely one of them.

There is something special about seeing a classic still being driven, maintained and cared for after all these years.

Different generation. Different engineering. Same principle: look after it well, and keep it going for as long as possible. 💙

Some get the chance to stretch their legs on the track.

Here's a throwback to one of our customer's Mitsubishi Evo X at a recent track day. It's always nice to see a car doing exactly what it was built for.

Whether it's routine servicing, repairs, or helping prepare a vehicle for a special day out, we are grateful to be part of our customers' motoring journeys.

Built in 2023. Still looking this good in 2026. 💛

We worked on this Evo X engine bay for our customer back in 2023.

Three years later, we have to give credit where it’s due. The owner has maintained it superbly. 👏

A nicely done engine bay is one thing.

Keeping it looking this good years later? That takes an owner who really takes pride in his car.

Always nice to see our past work again, especially when it has been so well taken care of. 💙

Some cars don't need introductions.

One glance is enough.

The Honda Civic EK may be over two decades old, but it still turns heads and brings back memories for enthusiasts everywhere.

Seeing these two parked outside Carfeels reminded us why we fell in love with cars in the first place.

Not because they're the fastest.
Not because they're the newest.

But because they represent a time when driving was simple, mechanical, and full of character.

Before touchscreens.
Before lane assist.
Before everything became digital.

We are fortunate to work on all kinds of vehicles, from daily commuters and commercial fleets to performance builds and classics like these.

Some of the most important work happens where no one is watching.

When you collect your vehicle, you see the finished result.

What you don’t see are the hours spent diagnosing, checking, testing and making sure the repair is done properly.

Some faults are straightforward.
Others take patience, experience and a little detective work.

We don’t believe in replacing parts just for the sake of it. We believe in understanding the root cause and recommending only what your vehicle truly needs.

Because at the end of the day, we are not just repairing vehicles, we are looking after the people who drive them.

🔍 Some problems can’t be seen from above.

When a vehicle is lifted, we will be able to inspect areas that are usually hidden from view.

This may include:
🔧 Oil or fluid leaks
🔧 Worn suspension bushings
🔧 Torn engine mountings
🔧 Loose or damaged undertrays
🔧 Exhaust and undercarriage concerns

These issues may not always produce obvious symptoms at first, but identifying them early can help prevent bigger and more costly repairs later.

That’s why proper servicing is more than just changing engine oil, the checks underneath matter too.
