DAKAR 2015: summary

Worldwide known race Dakar 2015 set off in Buenos-Aires on January 4, 2015. This race is famous for being the most difficult off-road rally where the racers have to drive through deserts, mountaines, sand duned and salt flats.
The number of participants totalled in 665 of motorcycles (164), quads (48), cars(138), and trucks (64). The competotors should demonstrate not only driving and navigating skills but also grit and stamina.
On January 17, 2015 the race was finished and the winners overcame over 8 thousand miles took their places on the podium. They are - Marc Coma in the motorcycle category, Nasser Al-Attiyah in the car group, Rafal Sonik in the quad categoryand Airat Mardeev among truck teams.
