​Our customer brought in his W205 C180 due to an Engine Check Light. After a diagnostic scan, we traced it down to a very common issue on this model—a broken oil pump cable inside the pump assembly!

​During our routine multi-point safety check, we also found that his front and rear brake pads were down to 25%, and the brake discs were wearing unevenly. Safety first! We updated the owner, and he gave us the green light for a full fix and refresh. 💪

​Symptom:

The customer experienced zero airflow from the aircon vents mid-drive. After restarting the car, only a tiny trickle of warm air came out before cutting off completely.

​Diagnostics & Solution:

​Airflow Fix: Fault scan indicated a short circuit in the blower circuit. Replacing the faulty blower motor and regulator fully restored proper airflow.

​Cooling Fix: Refrigerant recovery showed gas levels were full, confirming the lack of cold air was due to a failing, weak aircon compressor.

​After hoisting the car up for an inspection, we found several plastic coolant pipes severely cracked and leaking badly. Engine heat makes these plastic pipes extremely brittle over time, meaning nearby fittings often break during removal.

​After explaining the situation, the owner gave us the green light to do a proper, full refresh!

​We had a Mercedes C238 C300 in the shop with a missing reading for the rear left tire pressure.

​Here's what happens: Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensors rely on built-in batteries. After a few years, those batteries naturally weaken and stop sending signals to your display. It’s a super common issue, especially on older sensors!
