BMW M4 Competition – A Super Coupe Sensation

Touching Down in Singapore Soon!

BMW's long-awaited M4 Competition doesn't hold back any punches. It's fast, immensely capable, but also superb fun!

The Competition variant gets an enhanced 503-hp engine, a snappy automatic gearbox, and unique chassis tuning that should culminate in quicker lap times at the racetrack. Only the automatic M4 is available with all-wheel drive, and this slick system features a drift-worthy rear-drive mode.

The M4 is motivated by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six that comes in two potencies. The standard version makes 473 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. It pairs with rear-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission. In our testing, this setup shot to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds and cleared the quarter-mile in 12.0 ticks at 121 mph. With 503 horses and 479 pound-feet, the Competition model is even quicker, but the lone transmission choice is an eight-speed automatic. To offset the lack of a stick-shift option, only the M4 Competition can be equipped with a rear-biased all-wheel-drive system. Every M4 comes with adaptive dampers, adjustable brake-pedal feel, and an electronically controlled exhaust system that gets louder in Sport and Sport Plus drive modes.

Vezel receives a full model change, sporting new styling inside and out. Like the new Fit, it offers Honda’s e:HEV two-motor hybrid system, and the latest safety and connectivity features.

Under the hood, Vezel offers a 1.5-liter DOHC i-VTEC gas engine with Continuously Variable Transmission. The e:HEV models employ Honda’s two-motor hybrid system with driver-selectable Normal, Sport, and Econ modes.

Inside, Vezel feature modern minimalist aesthetic, with a horizontal sweeping instrument panel and uncluttered dash. A new air diffusion system is said to create a curtain of fresh air beside and above passengers for increased comfort.

The latest Honda Sensing features offered for the Vezel include a wide-view camera with high-speed image processing, Adaptive Cruise Control with traffic jam tracking, Collision Mitigation Braking System, sign recognition function, and Lane Keeping Assist.

The versatile rear “Magic Seat,” one of our favorite features on the previous models, offers both fold-flat and flip-up versatility for transporting different size cargo.
