Incoming - Ferrari 550 Maranello
The Ferrari 550 Maranello is one of our favourite cars. It is analogue enough to feel engaging and rewarding at any speed, yet modern enough to keep pace with most contemporary sports cars on the road. A true modern classic.
This example was delivered new to the Italian market through Forza in Torino. Its first owner, Signore Masciou, clearly spent a little more time than most studying Ferrari’s colour palette, ultimately making the bold choice of Grigio Alloy rather than opting for the more familiar reds, greys and blacks.
Believed to have been specified on only a very small number of 550 Maranellos, Grigio Alloy gives the car a particularly distinctive appearance. Inside, the specification becomes even more interesting. Dark blue carpeting extends through the footwells and across the rear shelf behind the seats, providing a beautifully judged and surprisingly natural contrast to the Bordeaux leather covering the seats and door panels.
Today, the car shows just over 37,000 km from new, shared between just three owners. It also benefits from a comprehensive major service carried out approximately one year ago at a cost of nearly €5,000.
Specially specified 550 Maranellos do not come to market every day, particularly in combinations as individual and well resolved as this. We are therefore especially excited to be welcoming this example to our showroom.
