Today, the calendar decision was made by the FIA that Rally Sweden 2022 will be held on February 24th-27th. The WRC-round is set later than usual to avoid collisions with the Winter Olympics in Beijing.

Efter beslutet om att Rally Sweden flyttar till Umeå 2022, berättar Lars Sätherberg från MK Ratten om sina förhoppningar om att det ska köras rally i det påkostade stenbrottet vid Torsby flygplats igen.

After a thorough investigation, all parties involved agree that Rally Sweden 2022 will be carried out with Umeå as the new host city.

Sad news in sad times for so many.

Next February’s Rally Sweden, the second round of the FIA World Rally Championship, has unfortunately been called off due to increased restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
